Program Details for the Adult Co-Ed League
LOCATION
Games are held Saturday evening at the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre located at 221 Jennifer Heil Way, Spruce Grove.
LEVELS OF PLAY
We run two different levels of games:
Recreational – 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
This game is for players who are new to soccer or have emerging skills. More advanced players are welcome to play, but are expected to match the intensity of a recreational game.
Competitive – 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
This game is for experienced players who want to keep their skills sharp.
TEAMS
We do not have formal teams in this league. Co-ed teams are formed on the field the day of the event with the players who attend.
KIT
There is no required kit for this league. Players need only appropriate footwear, running shoes, indoor soccer shoes, or turf shoes (NO CLEATS), shin pads, and a water bottle. The TLC asks that outdoor footwear is not used on the field. Teams will be identified through pinnies.
SCHEDULE
Games will begin Saturday, October 18 and end on Saturday, February 28. There will be no games on Saturday, November 15 (SGSA’s Early Bird tournament), Saturday, November 22 (Early Bird), and Saturday, December 27 (TLC closed for the holiday season).
Waiver
We will need all adult players to sign a waiver on their first day of play. This waiver is standard and absolves SGSA and the TLC of any liability if you are injured while playing.
