The City of Spruce Grove and The City of Edmonton are both classified as high case regions, therefor will be subject to the new restrictions coming into effect on May 9th at 11:59pm.

Here are the specific updates for our various programs:

Mini House Division (U4, U5 & U7)

The EMSA Spruce Grove Board of Directors has determined that the further delay in a possible season start due to public health restrictions would not allow for the mini program to be completed by the end of June. With this in mind the Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to cancel the mini season this spring. SGSA will continue to monitor and evaluate the public health restrictions and will be looking to hold some form of program, camp or “Try It” event later this summer or fall prior to the Indoor Soccer Season. Full refunds will be provided and they will begin to be processed in the coming week.

Youth House Division (U9 & U11)

The EMSA Spruce Grove Board of Directors has determined that the further delay due to public health restrictions does not allow for a viable U9 and U11 program to be completed by the end of June. SGSA will continue to monitor and evaluate the public health restrictions and will be looking to hold some form of program, camp or “Try It” event later this summer or fall prior to the Indoor Soccer Season.
