We are extremely excited for all the players registered and those considering registration for the 2018 Outdoor Soccer season.

Soccer is a great sport to aid in the development of social interactions. Players learn to work together, support each other and encourage one another through good times and difficult times. They learn life skills along with soccer skills in a fun and competitive atmosphere.

For the 2018 outdoor season and beyond, players will be having a skill assessment to help place them on teams suited for their abilities.  We want to encourage skill development and comradery with teammates which we believe is best done when each player has an opportunity for equal contribution to the team.

Registration for the OUTDOOR 2018 season is CLOSED

Tentative start date is MAY 1, 2018

The season will run for the following months:

U4-U19 Community –  May and June (U13- U19 possibly into mid-July)

U11 Saints – mid-April to June

U13 – U19 Saints – mid-April to August

Runners or outdoor soccer shoes, shin pads, and water bottle. U4 to U18 community players are supplied with socks, shorts and a jersey to keep.

SGSA is a volunteer-run organization, parent volunteers are required to make the program a success.

There are a variety of volunteer options available – please note the changes from previous years!! You MUST choose one method of fulfilling your volunteer duties. Volunteer commitments are 1 per FAMILY!

  1. You can sign up for a specific volunteer activity (ex. coaching a team or helping at one of the outdoor events such as the Moon Day or Mini tournament). If you choose this option a $200.00 Volunteer Deposit Cheque (or cash) is due at time of registration, as well as committing to the specific event. If you do not fulfill your commitment your cheque will be cashed.


2.       You can purchase 1 box of chocolates ($100 due at time of registration) to resell (or eat!)


Teams are coached by parent/sibling volunteers.

If you are interested in coaching but have not played soccer – no problem!
No experience is necessary. All we need is a willing volunteer who wants to learn how to encourage and teach our players the skills necessary. SGSA will provide the information regarding available coaching courses and will reimburse you for the cost of course registrations.
