VOLUNTEERS
SGSA is a volunteer-run organization, parent volunteers are critical to our program’s success!
Our organization survives and thrives on the support of its dedicated volunteers. By volunteering, you are supporting the well-being and health of Spruce Grove’s youth.
For the 2026 Outdoor Season, each FAMILY will be required to pay a $200 volunteer fee. This is a one-time fee per family. It will be added to your registration fee upon registering your player. No need to worry! Once your volunteer commitment is fulfilled, you will be reimbursed the full $200.
OR
You can simply pay the $200 decline to volunteer fee without fulfilling a requirement. This fee will not be reimbursed.
Volunteer Opportunities
Special Events
During our special events, such as celebration days, tournaments, tryouts, player placement, and equipment return, we require the help of volunteers. Volunteer shifts are four hours long and may take place at the SGSA office, the TriLesiure Centre, Fuhr field or other fields around Spruce Grove or Edmonton. Volunteer opportunities are posted on social media and are emailed using sign up.
Team Officials
Volunteers can sign up as coaches, assistant coaches, and team managers. Team officials must complete a criminal record check prior to working with a team. Please reach out to office@saintsfc.ca for more information about volunteering as a team official. In addition to receiving their volunteer deposit, team officials are also given a $50 SGSA gift certificate as per our Team Official Appreciation policy.
