Respect in Sport
All SGSA Coaches and Team Personal must complete Respect in Sport Activity Leader training. Alberta Soccer has partnered with Respect Group, the creators of the Respect in Sport programs, to provide a discounted rate for the Respect in Sport Activity Leader Program. Respect in Sport is the nationally recognized standard for promoting a safe sporting environment and complies with Canada Soccer’s, Quality Soccer Provider criteria. See Coaching Courses to register
Make Ethical Decisions (MED)
The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Make Ethical Decisions Module is a requirement for all coaches within Alberta Soccer Standards for Quality Soccer. This multi-sport module is provided online through the Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation Branch (SPAR), and offered weekly for all coaches. See Coaching Courses to register
