SAINTS’ ACADEMY PROGRAM
Our academy program nurtures children’s “first steps, first kicks” in the wonderful world of soccer. A fun-filled program designed to improve a player’s soccer abcs (agility, balance, coordination), and teamwork skills based on Soccer Canada’s Grassroots Soccer standards.

**Please note that for our U4 and U5 programs, we require a parent, guardian, or sibling aged 16+ to participate with your little one on the field.
* In addition to the program fee, we collect a $200 volunteer deposit per family. The deposit is returned once an adult completes a 4 hour volunteer shift for SGSA or signs up as a team official. We do not require a volunteer fee for U4/U5 players as it is a parent-partnered program.
Welcome to our new U4, U5, and U7 Academy Programs
We have recently redesigned our academy program to align with Canada Soccer’s new grassroots soccer standards.
OUR GOAL
Our goal is to introduce children to soccer through fun and enjoyable activities, while developing their social skills as they learn how to move their bodies. At this introductory level, the main objective is to get kids moving and to keep them active.
U4/U5 Academy
Weekly Commitment: One hour long session
We are thrilled to announce the new parented Saints’ Skills Center program for U4/U5. Players will have the opportunity to play with different teams each week to help build confidence with the ball while challenging their skills. Warm-up, drills, and game play will round out the hour! All players need is a water bottle, a pair of outdoor soccer cleats or running shoes, shin pads, and a willingness to learn and have fun while enjoying the game of soccer!
U7 Academy
Weekly Commitment: Two one hour sessions
We are thrilled to announce the new Saints Skills Center program for U7. Players will have the opportunity to play with different teams each week to help build confidence with the ball, yet challenge their skills. Warm up, drills and game play will round out the hour! For this age, there will be more focus on proper technique around ball control and learning the rules of the game. All players need is a water bottle, a pair of indoor soccer cleats or running shoes, shin pads, and a willingness to learn and have fun while enjoying the game of soccer!

Grassroots Program
Whether your player dreams of playing for Canada’s National Teams or simply wants to have fun with their friends, taking the right approach to the game when children are young sets the stage for a lifetime of enjoyment.
